The District of Columbia’s Medicaid participant-directed service program is called the “Services My Way Program” which permits individuals enrolled in the Medicaid EPD waiver and live in their natural homes to exercise more independent choice and control over their supports by self-directing certain services if they are willing and able to do so. This delivery approach provides decision making and authority to participants rather than traditional service
providers. This participant guide for the program is a resource for participants who wish to enroll.
